A Life Saving Project of NYAGI
NYAGI Project is teaching the power of Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) resuscitation program and other skills to reduce neonatal (and maternal) mortality in the “Golden Minute” after birth and the vulnerable neonatal period.
Neonatal Mortality
The HBB component of the training started in February 2021 through remote teaching of 9 participants in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Nursing Program at Universidad Martín Lutero. The ultrasound portion of the project is made possible thanks to a generous private donation to pay for the ultrasound probes that will be donated to the home institutions of the trainees.
