NYAGI Project - Nicaragua
NYAGI is working to create an accelerated “Train the Trainer” program for prenatal point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) serving Nueva Segovia communities. The purpose of this project is to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality.
Low-Income Countries vs United States Maternal Mortality
HBB training started in February 2021 via remote instruction to participants at the Nursing Program at Universidad Martín Lutero. Generous contributions from Rotary and private donors help fund the training equipment. Thank you!
