Jason Cui
Jason was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He helped create and is currently the Board Director of ASPIRE Colorado, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on providing educational resources to low-income high school students. In addition to community service, Jason is passionate about medical research. In the past three years, he has interned at a biomedical research lab at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Alzheimer’s Disease and developing a deeper understanding of how the gut-microbiome can be used to prevent pathologies. He has also gained national and international recognition for his research at competitions like the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS). He is currently a 2021 Scholar at the Research Science Institute, a program hosted by the Center of Excellence in Education and run by MIT and Harvard.
