THE NYAGI APPROACH

A 1-2-3 Program for Accelerated Learning

NYAGI quickly brings ultrasound “off-the-road” to educate, empower, and elevate remote, rural healthcare systems by using educational tools available today.

  1. Educate

For each group of healthcare providers selected by our in-country partner organizations, the NYAGI team of experienced sonographers hosts a week of intensive hands-on learning. Participants learn basic and advanced ultrasound skills and how to use the iPad-based software provided by 7D Imaging. With the NYAGI approach the participants “learn by doing” ultrasound, quickly transitioning from assisted to independent scanning.

  2. Empower

Each new “ultrasound champion” we help to create receives an iPad loaded with the complete 7D Imaging NAV™ software suite. This point-of-care resource empowers the participants to continue independent learning. The software also serves as a fast-access “teacher in a box” to pass the skills and information forward, to share the knowledge with colleagues. NYAGI works with local in-country partners to support leaders trained as ultrasound teachers with our “train the trainers” program. NYAGI provides additional remote training webinars for continued skills development.

  3. Elevate

NYAGI’s training system makes it possible to elevate the entire healthcare system (and save lives) in the countries in which we work. After the field work, we follow up with our new ultrasound champions to ensure they’re continuing to grow and learn. Dedicated to the highest standards of healthcare and patient safety, NYAGI works with Inteleos’ POCUS Certification Academy™, a non-profit certification organization that creates assessments tools, cultivating a global community of ultrasound excellence.
