Monvi Kudumula

Monvi is a recent gradute from University of Colorado Boulder. She did her bachelors in Integrative Physiology (B.A) and Economics (B.A) with a minor in Computer Science. She worked at Spine West, a physiatry clinic, as a Medical Assistant to apply her knowledge from both majors. In addition to her passion of helping others at a more personal level. Monvi works at the CU Integrative Physiology Aging research lab to expand her knowledge on complex topics of biological mechanisms that mediate physiological changes with aging and the modulation of the changes by biological factors. She is a recipient of James H. Baker award via the Esteemed Scholars Program and academic award recognition via Dean’s List at University of Colorado Boulder. She found her passion for medicine by volunteering at retirement homes and shadowing multiple providers in rural and urban India. After seeing the difficulties that individuals had to face while seeking medical attention, she wanted to bring awareness to help improve conditions for low income communities.
