Kayla Kiger

Kayla is currently a student at University of Colorado Boulder. She is majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (B.A) and Neuroscience (B.A), with a minor in Spanish, with a Certificate in Public Health. She is a recipient of Joseph A. Sewall award via the Esteemed Scholars Program and academic award recognition via Dean’s List at University of Colorado Boulder. She found her passion for medicine by volunteering and shadowing at local hospitals, as well as volunteering to provide discounted preventative health screenings at the 9Health Fair. She joined the NYAGI team through an interest in women’s health, specifically the health of mothers in underserved areas, and hopes to contribute to reaching NYAGI’s goals through research and data.
