Working hard to save mothers’ and babies’ lives in poor areas of the world with ultrasound education.

Who Is NYAGI?

NYAGI (derived from ‘Now You Are the Group’s Interest’) represents the '“global” name for the pregnant mother living in a rural village where resources are limited and prenatal care is never guaranteed. NYAGI Project is a non-profit organization harnessing the power of technology to teach pre-natal and emergency ultrasound skills to local healthcare workers in least-fortunate areas. Early diagnosis of life-threatening conditions of pregnancy can avoid danger and save lives. NYAGI is that mother we all work for…together. You can help.

Haiti

A short video made on our most recent visit to Haiti—just pre-COVID. We worked with the CARIS Foundation and USAID’s Project Santé to set up a self-sustaining ultrasound training program that provides remote instruction, educational resources, and local support across the entire country.

“NYAGI Project is addressing one of the greatest needs of Haiti's health care system"

— Jene Thomas, Former Director, USAID Haiti
